  • Provided toxics use audits and recommendations for less toxic practices to seven hotels in San Francisco, representing 2,000 hotel rooms and approximately 350 housekeeping staff. The seven hotels included large, medium and small properties, properties in two major hotel chains and two boutique hotel groups.
  • Identified major players, suppliers and purchasing structures in the hospitality sector, and finding points of leverage to encourage shifts to less toxic cleaning practices.
  • Assembled information on existing greening efforts at the local, national and international level within government and the hospitality sector.
